The Spanish Town Skills Training Centre is an exciting community-based, non-profit Christian Based institution, operated in partnership with HEART NSTA/Trust, the National Training Agency for Jamaica.
The Centre was formed in April 1999, resulting from the initiative of Mrs. Sandria Palmer and Mrs. Ruth James, who wanted to see the Church community start a training centre to help its youth.
From our humble beginnings to a thriving hub of learning, each chapter in our history highlights our commitment to excellence and community. Discover how we’ve influenced lives through education, support, and collaboration. Every milestone is a testament to our dedication to uplifting our community and empowering individuals.
We celebrated the launch of our first vocational training program focused on community-driven growth.
We expanded our facilities to accommodate more learners and offerings, marking a new era in our outreach.
Formed key partnerships that enhanced our programs, providing industry insights and internships for our students.
